Job Description

Licensing & Government Relations

- Lead all legal licensing procedures for company operations: Investment Registration Certificate (IRC), Enterprise Registration - Certificate (ERC), Education Operation License, and other permits.

- Directly liaise and negotiate with government agencies (DPI, DOET, Department of Planning, Department of Construction, Department of Public Security, People’s Committees, etc.)

- Monitor legal developments in licensing and investment law to ensure compliance.

- Represent the company in regulatory audits, inspections, or meetings with authorities.

Legal Advisory & Contract Management

- Review and draft licensing-related contracts, legal opinions, MoUs, and official correspondences.

- Provide legal advice on business registration, investment approvals, and education licensing.

- Coordinate with external counsels when needed.

Documentation & Record Management

- Maintain licensing files, applications, approvals, and correspondence with full legal accuracy.

- Prepare legal reports and maintain compliance records for audit-readiness.

Qualifications & Experience

 Must-have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law (Lawyer Practicing Certificate or LL.M is a plus)

- 5–7 years of legal experience in investment licensing, business registration, or the education sector

- Hands-on experience working with government authorities such as DPI, DOET, MOET, DOLISA, Department of Public Security, etc.

- Strong legal drafting and bilingual contract review (English & Vietnamese).

- In-depth knowledge of Vietnam Investment Law, Enterprise Law, Education Law, and related regulations.

- Expertise in corporate, investment, education, commercial, labor, IP, and tax law.

- Proficiency in Legal English and ability to review bilingual legal documents.

- Familiarity with digital licensing platforms or legal tech is an advantage.
