DELTA Module 1 Online preparation course

Our preparation course aims to prepare you for the exam by providing:

• Exam strategy training to prepare you for all exam tasks
• Practice of tasks based on the ones you will do in the exam with tutor feedback
• Two mock exams - the first is self-marked and the second tutor-marked
• Support with key books relating to the topic areas as well as useful links and articles
• Personalized study plans for background post-course reading based on feedback on the second mock exam 

DELTA Module 2 course

This course will only lead to the completion of Module 2. The assessment for Delta Module 2 consists of completing a coursework portfolio of 4 parts, which are marked internally by the course tutors and moderated by Cambridge Assessment English, as well as 1 externally assessed assignment.

• The Professional Development Assignment (PDA) is made up of 2 parts and is completed during the course. There is a Reflection & Action (R&A) assignment (2000-2500 words) and an Experimental Practice (EP) assignment (1500-2000 words).
• 3 x Language systems/skills assignments (LSA) which include a Background Essay (2000-2500 words), a lesson plan with class profile, analysis, procedure, rationale & materials, as well as post-lesson reflection & evaluation. 
• 1 x LSA which is externally assessed by an approved Cambridge assessor. Overall, 2 x LSAs must focus on ‘language systems’ (i.e. grammar, lexis, phonology, discourse) and 2 x LSAs will focus on ‘language skills’ (i.e. reading, listening, speaking & writing).
