The course consists of fourteen units, delivered face-to-face on a full-time basis over two weeks. There is no teaching practice component. The certificate is for a 50-hour course. Thirty of these are face-to-face and at the end of the course, a portfolio of homework tasks and a final assignment (based on a grammar lesson plan) is submitted. This portfolio makes up the final 20 hours of work, and candidates will have up to two weeks after the course ends to submit these.
